La Junta is in the Colorado flatlands and we will be moving into Kansas tomorrow. Time to do some Tornado chasing. Yeah! Right! The internet connection here is very poor and has broadband restrictions, so will not be uploading pictures till tomorrow. We are just going to doddle along on day 6 and try to find a nice place to stay for the night. Will get to see lots of sheep, cattle, corn and FLAT.
Grand Junction to La Junta looks like a very long trip on the map. Is that snow in them there hills? No snow here! (surprise!)

ReplyDeleteI remember that Hwy 50...I was glad to see a gas station late at night...Grand Junction to Reno heading back from the UP mid winter.
