Below are pictures of the Lewiston N.Y. Moose Lodge. It is just a few miles from Niagara Falls and located right on the lower Niagara river.

June 25 - We made it
We crossed the border today at noon. It took an hour at U.S. Customs and another hour at Canadian Customs for the Green Weenie to become a Canadian. All went well. I have a doctors appointment at 9 in the morning so we made it just in time. To view a slideshow of all the pictures taken from La Junta Colorado until today, click on this link. http://picasaweb.google.com/burgersplus/LaJuntaColoradoToCanadianBorder#
Thanks for following along. I am going to revise this blog a little later.

Days 9-10-11 and OOPS
On day 9 we drove from Cloverdale Indiana to Fargo Ohio, just north of Columbus. We drove through or around Indianapolis, Dayton and Columbus. Nothing much happening, we took pictures of the skylines and the state entry signs, etc. No internet service at this campground.
On day 10 we drove from Fargo Ohio to Jefferson Ohio. Not very far because at noon we pulled into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. It was very interesting and brought back lots of memories. It took us till 7 pm to complete our tour and then off to Jefferson for the night. Again no internet was available.
On day 11, Sunday, we took the short drive to Buffalo using Interstate 90 through the remainder of Ohio and the far western part of Pennsylvania. When we crossed into New York state I-90 becomes a toll road (New York Throughway) so we took old highway 20 to north Buffalo area. We passed miles and miles of grape vines and small wineries. We thought we were in the Napa Valley. We took a motel room for the night. We wanted to prepare to cross the border the next morning and update the blog. Although the motel advertised free Wi-Fi, it was down and the owners blamed it on their internet service provider. We are on a roll here.
Day 12 and we drive to U.S. customs and because I want to import the Green Weenie into Canada, we find out that U.S. border services require 72 business hours to check out the vehicle prior to exporting it. Thats the "OOPS". So here we are, staying at the KOA in Lewiston New York until noon on Thursday. The Lewiston area is just north of Niagara Falls and is a very beautiful area. We visited the Moose Lodge in Lewiston. It is a very nice lodge and is right on the Niagara River. What a great location.

Day 7 & 8
On day 7 we drove from Garden City Kansas to Sedalia Missouri. We looked for Dorothy while driving through Kansas but no luck. Found lots of Wyatt Earp stuff in Dodge City. The Green Weenie is still running well and we seem to be missing the storms by a few hours. The skies were dark to the north but the clouds seemed to stay there. The TV had Tornado warnings but not for the county we were in. We stayed at the local fairground in Sedalia . It had electric and water but no internet. That is why this posting is a day late.
On day 8 we drove from Sedalia to Cloverdale Indiana. Saw the state capital building in Jefferson City. Beautiful rolling hills in Eastern Missouri and then we crossed the Mississippi at St. Louis. We said goodbye to U.S. Hwy 50 at East St. Louis, Illinois and headed northeast toward Indianapolis on Interstate 70. We have stopped at a nice little RV park just outside Cloverdale. from where we are posting this blog.

Day 6
Only drove a short distance today. La Junta Colorado, to Garden City, Kansas. Its over 90 so we decided to stop early. Found a nice RV park with a pool and shade. Got the air conditioner going. It runs well. We also lost another hour as we entered the Central Time Zone. Its great to sit here in an RV park and type away over Wireless Internet. My how times have changed. I have posted yesterdays Rocky Mountain pictures to the web at this link: http://picasaweb.google.com/burgersplus/HartHarry#
There are about 44 of them added to the previous ones. We will post todays pictures of Kansas tomorrow. Not very many of them. The scenery is so boring, Hart found the GPS screen more interesting.
Day 5
Hi All.
Nice to see our followers increasing. (Surely there is more to do in life). Just joking.
We drove from Grand Junction to La Junta Colorado. Thats only 340 miles, but it was a long days drive. We climbed the rockies to 11,210 feet at Marshall pass. You can see the elevation on my GPS computer. (I must clean that screen!).
